The University of Wisconsin—Madison Division of Extension Grazing Program delivers the research, resources, and programming needed to help farms of all scales successfully implement grazing in Wisconsin and beyond.
The diversity of topography, soil, and climate that makes Wisconsin special is also what challenges many of our agricultural systems. While there are not many farming practices that are a universal fit, well-managed grazing and perennial forages are well-suited for most of our state, while also providing tremendous economic and environmental benefits.
