Disease prevention starts before we plant our first seeds of the season. In this webinar, learn more about hot water seed treatment and how this method can be used in combination with other integrated pest management (IPM) practices to reduce and prevent outbreaks of seed-borne diseases. Emilee Gaulke, Diversified Vegetable Educator, discusses the science behind this method, diseases that are seed-borne, and recommendations for when to implement this method. She is joined by Beth Kazmar, co-owner and farmer at Tipi Produce, who shares her low-cost methods, experience incorporating this practice on her farm, and tips for efficiency.
