Recording of the Badger Crop Connect webinar on April 10, 2024
The April 10 Badger Crop Connect session features Dr. Francisco Arriaga, UW-Madison Associate Professor & Extension Specialist of Soil & Water Conservation & Management. He shares that parts of the state are still in a drought and soil moisture in the profile is lower than normal. Temperatures are expected to be higher than normal, which can further reduce soil moisture in the profile due to increased evapotranspiration. Management practices might need changes depending on how the soil moisture situation progresses into the planting and growing season.
