UW–Madison Extension and the Climate Resilient Organic Vegetable Production (CROVP) community invite you to a field day at Red Door Family Farm on Wednesday, July 15, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Hosts Tenzin and Stacey Botsford will share their strategies for integrating cover crops into diversified vegetable production,including living aisles and diverse cover crop mixes. Extension staff will discuss in-field assessment of soil health, with demonstrations including assessment of soil structure, water infiltration, and soil erosion potential.
Hmong interpretation will be provided, and all are welcome to join.
