Manure Composting Management for Profit, Siting Considerations, and Spreading Demonstrations
UW–Madison Extension is hosting a free manure composting management field day at the Lancaster Agricultural Research Station on Wednesday, August 5 from 11:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m, with an optional bonus plot tour of cereal rye cover crop and tillage effects on waterhemp management beforehand. Lunch is provided!
This field day is designed for livestock producers and agency staff to learn the ins and outs of manure composting and the benefits it offers soil health, the environment, and your wallet.
CEUs will be offered.
Please RSVP to ensure an accurate head count for lunch and coordinating transportation.
