Wisconsin graziers looking to expand livestock handling and pasture management knowledge and develop their skills are invited to join Grassworks’ Sept. 16 – 17 Grazing School in Marshfield.

Grassworks’ Wisconsin Schools of Grazing offers unique, hands-on educational experiences designed to empower graziers with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage pasture-based livestock systems.

This two-day training features several managed grazing experts leading both classroom sessions and hands-on field experiences. Topics covered include:

  • Principles of managed grazing
  • Soil health and pasture productivity
  • Paddock sizing and placement
  • Animal genetics and herd health
  • Establishing and renovating pastures
  • Planning your own system
  • And More!
