Wisconsin Apple Growers Association Field Day

Hosted by Red Sky Cider

Tues., July 9 from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Catch presentations from UW Fruit experts Amaya Atucha, Christelle Guedot, and Leslie Holland while exploring Red Sky Cider’s orchard, learning trade and alcohol regulations around cider, and more!

Cost of event (includes lunch and refreshments):

  • $40 / person — Wisconsin Apple Grower member orchard or business
  • $60 / person — Non-member registration
  • A $10 late fee per orchard/company charged for registrations after July 4, 2023

Learn about exciting new seedless table grape varieties for the Upper Midwest by visiting the field trials. This free event will be led by Amaya Atucha, UW Fruit Crop Specialist.

Organic Apple Field Day: Fruit Bud Development, Summer Pruning, and Fungal Diseases

Hosted by Dream Apple Farm

Tues., Aug. 6 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Registration closes Aug. 1)

All apple growers are welcome at this Organic Fruit Growers Association field day hosted by Peggy and Ed Callahan from Dream Apple Farm in Grafton, WI. The field day will include presentations from UW–Madison Fruit Program faculty, along with demonstrations and discussions in the field. Main topics for the day are fruit bud development, summer pruning, and lesser-known fungal diseases that affect apples. Catered lunch included with registration.

Cost of event (includes catered lunch):

  • $10 / person — Organic Fruit Growers Association members
