Over the past month, herbicide and fungicide application decisions have been made based on crop growth stage. The products must be applied at or before certain growth stages to avoid crop injury or target the appropriate timing. The University of Wisconsin-Madison has three crop staging guides to help make these management decisions easier. They are available as free PDF downloads.
