This year’s UW Agronomy and Soils Field Day dug deep into the science behind economically and environmentally sustainable farming.
From smarter corn and soybean management strategies to soil health and water quality innovations and integrated forage systems, UW-Madison College of Agricultural & Life Sciences researchers and graduate students shared field-tested insights that are shaping the future of Wisconsin agriculture.

With rotating field talks, UAV demonstrations from our friends at American Drone, and a focus on protecting Wisconsin farms’ bottom lines, the field day was a great reminder of how real-world research helps farmers and consultants make better decisions.
Thanks to all who joined us and presented! Find more Extension field days to attend on our events page.
