Badger Corn Agronomy
The latest corn research, tools and tips from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison Divison of Extension
Research
The corn agronomy lab strives to promote economically and environmentally sustainable corn production.
Our research addresses agronomic concerns such as weather challenges, the resurgence of secondary pests, and the invasion of non-native species.
Extension
We are invested in conducting large-scale on-farm research to get the most recent and updated hybrid evaluation data to the growers.
Additionally, we aim to evaluate novel concepts such as short-corn and to address management, adaptability, and quality challenges for growers.
About the Lab
Meet Dr. Harkirat Kaur, assistant professor and extension specialist in corn production systems at UW–Madison, and her team.
Research
Our lab is a collaborative space where we approach corn research holistically and generate pragmatic insights for crop production.
