If you have experience with, interest in, or intend to work with biological inputs of any kind on your farm or farms which you advise, we want to hear from you.
Educators and outreach specialists at UW–Madison Extension are looking to assess the needs of Wisconsin farm managers to guide the development of future outreach and educational activities on agricultural biologicals (e.g., biostimulants, biofertilizers, and biopesticides).
The quick, 10-question survey aims to understand the current use, information needs, and preferred educational formats regarding agricultural biologicals within the farming community by:
- Gauging familiarity with existing research and outreach materials
- Determining the priority of specific learning topics
- Identifying the most helpful educational formats
- Understanding how much to prioritize support of independent on-farm research efforts where needed.
Please contact Landon Baumgartner, southwest Wisconsin regional nutrient and pest management outreach specialist with questions, comments or concerns.
