The University of Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator Training (PAT) Program provides educational materials for the purpose of pesticide applicator certification in Wisconsin.
The PAT program offers two tracks for private and commerical pesticide applicators

Diagnostic Labs
Insect Diagnostic Lab

The University of Wisconsin Insect Diagnostic Lab was established in 1978 to provide timely and accurate identification of insects, insect-damaged materials, spiders, and other arthropods from around Wisconsin. The lab provides diagnostic services for the general public, private companies, agricultural producers, pest control professionals, the green industry, medical professionals, and other groups.

Plant Disease Diagnostics Clinic

The University of Wisconsin–Madison Extension Plant Disease Diagnostics Clinic (PDDC) provides assistance in identifying plant diseases and provides educational information on plant diseases and their control. PDDC clients include agricultural and horticultural producers (e.g., farmers, nursery owners), agricultural and horticultural professionals (e.g., crop consultants, arborists), home gardeners, Extension staff and Master Gardener volunteers, and state and local government (e.g., Wisconsin DNR, city and county foresters).
