The Emerging Crops Webinar series is intended to provide the latest information on a range of new and emerging crops to help growers explore these crops as a new opportunity.

June 21 – Hemp with Dr. Shelby Ellison, University of Wisconsin-Madison Assistant Professor of Horticulture
July 15 – Currants with Dr. Leslie Holland and growers Chris McGuire and Clare Hintz
July 27 – Hops with Jerry Clark and Carl Duley, UW-Madison Division of Extension agriculture educators
August 10 – Kernza with Dr. Valentin Picasso, UW-Madison Assistant Professor of Agronomy
August 24 – Hazelnuts with Jason Fischbach, UW-Madison Division of Extension agriculture educator
September 29 – Wine and Table Grapes with Dr. Amaya Atucha, UW-Madison Assistant Professor of Horticulture and Extension Fruit Crop Specialist

The webinars are free and open to the public, but registration is required. When you register, you will register for all or some of the webinars and you’ll be emailed connection information prior to each webinar. The webinars will be recorded and posted on this website.
